This project involved the fabrication and installation of an ornamental perimeter fence, ornamental entrance canopies, stainless steel and glass rails, and balcony/roof railings. Working closely with the architect, the final design of perimeter fence and canopy was produced and fabrication began promptly. The perimeter fence has posts with inlays of laser cut panels with custom designs from the architect. The oversized canopy with complex geometry was fabricated in the shop to ensure the correct fit, then disassembled to be shipped to jobsite. OIW contracted with a local rigging company with experience in shipping oversize loads. The canopies had a great fit up on-site, and connecting them with field welding was a breeze. Glazed Glass panels were then installed on top of canopies to complete them. Curved stainless steel and laminated glass rail was installed in the courtyard, where careful and precise field measurements were taken to ensure the correct fit. This job was completed in phases as the job progressed, in close coordination with the GC.
