This project involved the fabrication and installation of structural steel, balcony structure and railings, rain screen structure, and entrance canopy. This commercial residence had a wood and steel structure that relied on several heavy beams to support the wood structure. A very tight job site made it particularly difficult to install large pieces, but not impossible. A modern design was used for exterior railings and balcony. A wood/steel rain screen was fabricated with custom steel clips to fit wood members.
